I’m so happy to welcome you to the 2025 MNC x Up Here Festival Family Day market. It’s gearing up to be a fabulous day of handmade, community, great food, fab music, family and fun!
This page should have the answer to any questions you may have, however if you have any other questions, don’t be shy! That said, PLEASE READ everything before emailing, and give me a couple days to respond.

EVENT INFORMATION
DATE & TIME: Saturday August 16th 11AM - 4PM
LOCATION: DURHAM STREET, SUDBURY
LOAD IN/SET UP TIMES:
- August 16th: 8AM - 11AM
*Please no loading in after 10:30 to ensure guests safety.ABSOLUTELY NO DISMANTLING OF BOOTHS/TENTS BEFORE 4PM.

- Please unload all of your display and products to your spot, then move your vehicle ASAP.
What is your cancellation policy?
This is a RAIN OR SHINE event and there will be no refunds in the event of poor weather.
In the event of cancellation, we cannot guarantee a refund. If you are unable to make it to the market, please let us know - if it is possible to fill your spot, we'll refund your payment. No refunds if cancellation occurs within 2 weeks of the event.
INSURANCE
*Vendors are required to obtain their own insurance via Duuo insurance unless you have your own business insurance and can provide a copy with both Makers North Collective & Up Here Festival named.
DUUO INSURANCE LINK COMING. It’s really cheap - like $16 or so. Stay tuned.
LOAD IN AND PARKING

REMINDER: - Please unload all of your display and products to your spot, then move your vehicle ASAP.
MAKER SPACES
SPACE: all spaces are approximate and based on what you were accepted for.
- 10x10 tent space outdoors on Durham StSPACES ARE ASSIGNED. A map will be uploaded to this page & sent via email once it is ready.
MAKER MAP coming soon! Spaces are assigned - if you have any accessibility issues please reach out so I can accommodate you. All folks are welcome at this event!
NO TABLES, CHAIRS OR TENTS will be provided.
There is NO WIFI
As parents ourselves, we do understand if you need to bring your children during set up and tear down. However, children must be supervised at all times to avoid serious injury and other issues.
Everything must fit within your tent for fire code and to respect your neighbours.
FOOD VENDORS
If you are selling food (packaged or fresh) you will need a permit from the Sudbury Health Unit. It’s FREE, you just need to fill out the form and submit it to them ASAP. Find it HERE.
HANDMADE HAUL & SWAG BAGS
HANDMADE HAUL INFO: The “Handmade Haul” is our version of the door prize.
To enter folks are being asked to donate either an item or cash for the YMCA Youth Hub.
*****We hope to collect one awesome item from each maker for the Handmade Haul.
SWAG BAG INFOSwag bags are incredibly popular, so we really encourage participation to help get folks jazzed for the market. They will be given out at random through out the day to give more people an opportunity to snag one!
Bags will feature MN merch plus handmade items from our you, our fab makers!
We would be incredibly grateful for 2-3 small items, 1 regular item or really, whatever you would like to add.
We’re going to market the heck out of this, so any help is very appreciated! If you tag us online when posting about your swag we will share it!
*****Bring items with you when you come to set up. We will have volunteers coming around to collect items OR you can drop them off to Tracy at Yellow House. BOOTH #9
